Bringing Healthcare Closer to the People: EL-SHADDAI Global Skills & Community Initiative Medical Outreach 2026 Restoring Hope Through Accessible Healthcare
Healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet many rural and underserved communities continue to face significant barriers in accessing quality medical services. In line with its commitment to improving lives through impactful community interventions, EL-SHADDAI Global Skills & Community Initiative successfully carried out a comprehensive two-day free medical outreach in Oja Community, Akoko Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, on 8th and 9th July 2026.
The outreach was organized in loving memory of the late mother of Mr. Ese Sam Dafinone, whose legacy of compassion and service inspired this initiative. More than just a medical exercise, the outreach became a symbol of hope, love, and collective responsibility toward improving community health and well-being.
A Mission Driven by Compassion
The objective of the outreach was to bridge the healthcare gap by providing free medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, health education, and essential medications to members of the community who may otherwise have limited access to healthcare services.
The initiative was designed to not only address immediate health concerns but also promote preventive healthcare practices, encourage early diagnosis, and strengthen community awareness on healthy living.
Community Participation
Residents from Oja Community and neighboring communities turned out in large numbers to benefit from the exercise. Elderly men and women, children, and vulnerable members of society were welcomed with warmth and dignity by the outreach team.
